Discovered at the Pomona Swap Meet. Rusted Gold.
You never know what you may find at the Pomona Swap Meet (December 7, 2014). Mixed in with all the swap meet memorabilia was the Rusted Gold booth, Row 29. Creative benches and bars along with a few other whimsical uses for car parts & wood filled the space. Working with the artist, this custom bar with bench was created with a Ford theme. The Grand National Roadster Show this weekend showcases the rides, but this show is also a great venue for the artist. Located in the suede palace was the Route 66 Relics booth. Jeff Meyers, based in Portland, Oregon, creates custom signs and clocks. His designs have a vintage feel and incorporates neon into the artwork. Some pieces have moving parts. All sign art is hand-made to reflect a patina of time. He also offers custom work placing you and your ride driving down Route 66 with a trailer hitched to the back.
