The LA Roadster Car Show & Swap Meet

The LA Roadster Car Show is this weekend.

Thanks to the Road Kings for another great car show. The relaxed atmosphere was what a car show should be all about. Johnny Carson Park redeveloped landscape unfortunately broke-up the view of the car show with the new overgrown riverbed cutting off the shows visibility of the top and bottom levels but overall it was wonderful. Thanks to all for stopping by. Look for photos of the car show this week.

The LA Roadster Car Show and Swap Meet is this weekend June 15-16, 2018. This show features Roadsters & Hot Rods but there are a lot of other classics that take to the outside parking lot. The swap meet is huge with all kinds of car accessories and parts; it gets hot during the day so bring water and a great pair of walking shoes.

LA Roadster Car Show 2016

This fine little ride was at the LA Roadster Show showcasing the Mattson's Custom radiator booth. The radiator was the focus of this perfect '64. Check out his custom radiator website link here. Look for photos of the show this week. Starting with the roadster, moving into other custom rides and finishing off with the swap meet.

L.A. Roadsters, 51st Anniversary Father’s Day Car Show & Swap Meet.

The Roadster Show

Didn’t make if for Saturdays opening date but today the show was still in retrospect, pretty hot, this includes the weather. Happy to get there early before the crowd showed up. Hot rods everywhere on the fairground parking lot, Building 4 showcased a few rides along with vendors of all sorts. The swap meet had a lot of the usually stuff you see at a car show swap meet but focus was more on the roadster. There was a tribute to builder of the year, Alan Johnson and The L.A. Roadsters’ 50th Anniversary Highboy, A deuce of Hot Rod Royalty. Inside Building 4 ran into Big D, he had some pretty cool stuff. Also Modern Artifacts was showing off his Limited Editions of custom designed artwork. Custom car lamps, made by WHEEL UNIQUE showcased indoor lighting based on tail lights, adding them to ARTIST section. Overall, Sunday was still worth the drive. It was a truly happy place and well put together. The Roadsters did an amazing job.  We took so many beautiful cars shots, letting the camera make the 1st choice for CarShow Galley Photos, saving a few for later in the week.  Check out car show pics here.
