The dragsters are coming to the Fairplex

One of the best parts of the Grand National Roadster Show is the morning run down presented at the NHRA Museum. While talking with a member of the Fairplex working the entrance door, she stated that working years at Pomona she had no idea that the NHRA Museum was at the fairground.

but history is always on display at Wally Parks NHRA Musuem at the Fairplex.

The GNRS is this weekend

The GNRS is this weekend and there is a lot going on. Friday is always a good day because the crowd is light. Saturday is busy and the outside rides show up. Sunday announces the AMBR winners and so much more, so any day is great to attend, this show has it all from roadsters to pinstripers, wear your walking shoes.

The Los Angeles Fair is in town.

The NHRA is a great place to visit especially if you are attending the Los Angeles County Fair. This museum showcases the classic race car scene with amazing rides, racing jackets, racing history, and a wonderful shop filled with books, t-shirts and automotive memorabilia. This Weekend is the Belmont Car Show September 11, 2016. The show is always on the patriotic side so this being 9/11 weekend it should be spectacular.  Early risers win, this car show gets crowded.
