The Zug Monsters got our attention at the last show, so I gave them some artwork and they created this plaque for The Ranchero and the Blue Q. I dropped by their shop to pick up the art work and watched as they completed the final work on my new car club signage. (See The Artist.) You can find them at The Pomona Swap Meet Row 23 Space 37. George Barris was a self-made man.
This custom car legend created some of the most famous television rides and held an amazing car show every year introducing the public to his passion. Not knowing Mr. Barris, I purchased this vintage lunch box and drove over to his North Hollywood studio, he was super nice, stop what he was doing, signed my lunch box and we had a great conversation. Thanks Mr. Barris for the rides.
