Thanks for the Photos!
Inspiration Everywhere
Every year we have been blessed to receive a media pass for the GNRS. Attending the Grand National Roadster Show is always a fantastic way to start the year, so before going through photos of the show, sending out a Big Thank You to the NHRA Museum for hosting the media breakfast and to everyone on the Grand National Roadster Team.
Thank you!
In the room where the media briefing was held was a wall of vintage racing posters. If you haven’t had the opportunity to explore this amazing museum filled with California drag racing history, check it out.
Thanks to all the fabulous rides. The camera loved the show.

One of the best classic car shows in the world.
That’s right. The GNRS automotive extravaganza showcases some of the finest classic cars, motorcycles, lowriders, and rat rods. This classic car show runs for three whole days from February 3-5th. The venue also has outside vendors and dining. In addition, locals have a drive-in that fills the Fairplex outside parking lots on Saturday and Sunday. From vintage to present-day custom rides, the Grand Nationals Roadster Show is the perfect way to start the year.
Over the years, we have been fortunate to catch a few beauties.

Weekend surprise with a stopover at the aviation field for
RC Flyers honing their craft.
Thanks to all the RC Flyers for sharing their love on a Sunday morning disruption filled with questions and lots of answers. Enjoy the moment shared with the camera; shooting a car show was much easier than following the speed racing across the morning sky.
Looking up we could see the airplanes flying across the field so we drove over to check it out!

Do Classic Cars find you?
Always for the want of a Ranchero.
My brother’s car was a black, deluxe model with bucket seats. So for ten years, pinned on a bulletin board in my office were the exact dimensions of a ‘65 Ranchero, reminding me that someday I would find the perfect car and make it mine.

Breaking down the Classics with The Pinstripe.
A steady hand is needed to create a personal touch through the artistic endeavor where a brush and paint make the lines on hot rods, low riders, and classic cars. The lines of today are still moving forward with the same techniques that inspired a generation of car enthusiasts.
Car shows highlight the custom artwork that embellishes many classic cars—breaking down identity with a bit of paint.

2022 Road Kings Classic Car Show
Johnny Carson Park in Burbank, California, was the perfect location for the car show. This sweet little hidden gem has a two-level open lawn space, creating a picture-perfect atmosphere for a car show.
This is one of our favorite car shows, and we love taking
The Ranchero and the Blue Q out for a day of fun.
Getting to the car show early in the morning is essential when part of the show is taking photographs for the website. The sun is kinder to the ride in the morning, but the morning ritual of cleaning the car for hours can block the camera from getting the photograph.
So the search begins; the happy hour of walking through the car shows in search of the camera shot before the crowd arrives.
This year's show was a full house; with some amazing rides and classic car details.
It was a lot of fun, and seeing the So Cal Falcons and other recognizable faces after two years was nice. Thanks to all who stopped by for a look at the Ranchero and enjoyed a few hot dogs on the Blue Q.
A special thanks to the Road Kings!
Enjoy the show.
The Road Kings Car Show was off the car show chart.
Two years must have had everyone missing the Road Kings Car Show at Johnny Carson Park this year; it was a full house. Photos from the show in the Gallery this week; we had a great time thanks to Road Kings.
