Dogs & Car Shows

Jake, our amazing Jack Russell Terrier, loved a car show. This past Friday, Jake went to doggy heaven. He lived a long life,  19 + 4 months. He went everywhere with us and never once complained.  He enjoyed a car show, especially if it was on the lawn and not too hot. He loved the ocean but did not like to get his feet wet. He was bossy and sweet, was always eager for a walk, treasured car rides, hotels, chasing the wild, sleeping in the back seat of the car on a warm day in a campground, and most importantly knew how to come home.

This weekend car shows are dog friendly

 
 

Jake, our Jack Russell Terrier, loves a car show, unfortunately going into his 19th year he isn’t feeling well this weekend so we are skipping our weekend car show photo shoots to hang out with him until he feels better, this weekend is the Doheny Woodies, Seal Beach and the Burbank Kiwanis all great shows where a dog can tag along, find out more below or click the approved shows that Jake loves.

Woodies at the Beach 2018

18th Annual Woodies at the Beach

First time checking out the 18th annual Woodies at the Beach in Santa Barbara. Got there early, too early to check out all the rides but the wood that was there for our early arrive well, they were off the chart. What an amazing landscape for a car show, Santa Barbara City College and the Pacific Ocean. Going through the pics, look for them this week. The Road Kings are in the Park

The Road Kings at Johnny Carson Park

Taking the Ranchero and the Blue Q to meet up with the Road Kings and the The Falcon Club. This is a wonderful community car show at Johnny Carson Park in Burbank. The park like atmosphere will showcase the Road Kings and their awesome rides plus the community selection of great hot rods and classic cars. This is a fun family outing with vendors, food and music. The Falcon club will also be there, looking forward to seeing all the  Ranchero and Falcons in force. Fabulous Fords Forever April 2018

Starting the Fabulous Fords Forever with the beginning.

Getting to a car show early is great when the ride is more important than the spectators. The only bad part once the spectator arrive is getting the classic without the surrounding noise hitting the paint along with the other distractions that take away from the automotive shot. A lot of really great car photos get lost in the reflection of chairs, people and more so they end up stuck in the camera because showcasing the best of all the photos taken is what we strive for. So if by chance we took a photo, left you with our car show info and your awesome amazing ride did not make the gallery it was probable due to all the stuff that shows up when the photos hits the screen. Overall, this car show is a favorite because it showcases a broad range of Fords. We are starting this historical line of Fords from the Fabulous Fords Forever Car Show with the first models that took to the road and are still moving into history.
