The Fabulous Fords Forever Car Show April 2017
Didn't bring the Ranchero to the show this year, registration was full house 5 weeks ago on their website. So stopped by to take a look at the line up this morning. The cars had a lot more space at this year show than last year, could this be why it was sold out? Usually by 8 the car show is in full form but it was pretty sparse when we arrived, guess everyone was coming in late. This 1965 Ford Ranchero was a stand out in the morning sun. Wimbledon White, new paint, new chrome, rescued from despair, it was perfection. Look for an over-view of the car show this week. Last years show is still impressive, you can catch it here.
The Road Kings showcased the ride at Santa Anita Park October 11, 2015
Nice to see a '65 at the show. Got there early before the crowd. Santa Anita is a great backdrop for this car show. The Road Kings did not disappoint. Look for photos of the carshow this week.

Picnic in the Park is this weekend.
This is a top 3 favorite. Some car shows allow The Q, some don't. Not only do the Road Kings love the Q but The Ranchero and The Q won Fireman's Choice last year. This car show is on the lawn at Johnny Carson Park in Burbank, The Road Kings, one of the oldest car clubs in the country, put on a great charity breakfast, showcase live music, vendors and a raffle. This is the perfect setting for a car show. It's free, the cars are amazing and the weather should be almost as perfect as the car show. You can find The Ranchero and the Blue Q sitting on the hillside. Burgers and dogs at the ready.

Cruisin' for a Cure: It's an early wake-up call to get to the show. The reaction to the Blue Q makes it worth the trip. Some amazing people attend the show and as always it is fun talking to everyone about the Ranchero and the Q. Great to see Lee jamming around in his golf cart making sure the show is organized. If you want to check out a car this is the place to go. From a Duesenberg to the line-up of DeLoreans the show was worth the drive. Cruisin for a Cure 2013-Great cause car show.
When the '65 was first purchased at the Pomona Swap Meet in April 2005 it was in great running conditions but the interior was a mess. Keeping the integrity of the car while, making changes was a challenge. It was hit-and-miss with each endeavor. Some shops did a great job, others not so much. Going to and showing the Ranchero at car shows has been a great investment in finding and giving information on body shops, vendors for parts and general information about the Falcon Ranchero experience. One thing about the car junkie we love to share a great find.
